Our ministry priorities are based around three primary relationships. God. Believers. Others.
- Intimacy with God—Desiring God Above All Else: Mark 12:30 “Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength”.
- Community with Believers—Connected in Life Groups: John 13:34 “Love one another as Jesus loves you”. Life Groups are designed to help us grow in community with each other as brothers and sisters who are serving Jesus together as His church body. Biblical Christianity was not intended to be lived in isolation but in community.
- Influence with Others- Missional Living: Mark 12:31 “Love your neighbor as yourself”. Living out the ‘Great Commission’ should be the heart cry of all God’s children. We are committed to learning ‘HOW’ to make that heart cry our daily reality knowing that the time is short.
STATEMENT OF VALUES
Biblical Truth: We hold fast to the centrality of Jesus Christ, the story of God’s amazing redemption, and the core doctrines of historic Christianity. These are evident in our commitment to expositional preaching and teaching, biblical counseling, and discipleship.
Missional Living: We are committed to sharing the gospel with all people as ambassadors of Christ, calling everyone to repent of sin and believe the Good News. We believe all Christians are missionaries called to rehearse, share, and live the gospel.
Disciples’ Edification: We are devoted to our disciples’ progressive transformation into the image of Christ. A mature disciple grows in the spiritual disciplines, serves and is accountable to the church, and makes disciples of Christ who make disciples.
Christian Community: We are committed to one another as God’s family to grow in authentic biblical community. Initiated by baptism and renewed by Communion, we are a covenant community cultivating love, unity, and fellowship in our Sunday, weekly, and Life-Group gatherings.
Trinitarian Worship: We desire to direct our unceasing worship to the Triune God in all areas of life, seeking to find our greatest pleasure in God’s glorious presence. This requires no style or preference, simply Spirit and truth.
Servant Leadership: We are dedicated to properly appoint qualified elders and deacons over clearly defined church membership as the established order of Christ’s church. Within this order we are committed to foster servant leaders and faithful followers.
Though we are a non-denominational church, we find benefit in identifying with organizations of like-mindedness. Currently we are affiliated with the 9 marks ministry, a ministry that seeks to help local churches build healthy churches around 9 essential marks of biblically faithful churches.
